What We Do

Our organization is based on the one principal:

To be the best American Citizens we can be.

This means we help others understand and participate in the duties and rights that we all enjoy and perhaps more often then not, we take for granted.

We meet every Thursday, except thanksgiving. We have spirited discussions and put into effect plans that will change the Houston landscape.

President's Message

My name is Arturo Lopez, President of LULAC Council 60. I want to challenge you to ask yourself this simple question.

What can I do to repay the scarifices of those who fought for my rights?

The answer is plenty. Today our people continue to struggle with the oppressive yoke of poverty, dispair and hopelessness.

You can be that light to lead those who have yet to dine at the bounty of what America can truly be for all.

What do you say? Are you up for the challenge?
